The Coverage we offer for VFW Posts:

General Liability coverage protects your Post and its members from a variety of claims scenarios including bodily injury, property damage as well as lawsuits brought against a Post. The amount of coverage depends on a number of factors―a Post’s location, membership size and scope of events to name a few.

Property coverage covers a Post’s buildings and its contents. When determining what is an adequate amount of property coverage, it’s crucial that a building’s specifications and repairs are both accurate and up to date. When quoting a Post’s insurance, we often find Post property is underinsured or is insured with inaccurate data, which can result in more costs in a claim situation.

Liquor Liability coverage is an essential coverage for a Post that allows alcohol consumption on its premises. Even if a Post isn’t engaged in selling alcohol, or has BYOB policy, many state’s statutes hold that a Post can be found liable in an alcohol-related incident regardless of who furnished it.

Crime and Employee/Volunteer Dishonesty coverage offers protection for a Post in the event of theft caused by an employee or volunteer. Theft of money is most frequently committed by someone involved in the business or organization―it is critical to have this coverage in a Post’s insurance plan.

Special Event coverage offers protection for an off-premises event or for when a Post hall is rented to others. Coverage can be obtained on a per-event basis or throughout the year.
